UFC London is no longer taking place in the British city this Saturday. But, the promotion is reportedly looking at having certain bouts from the event added to Cage Warrior’s card on Friday.

Cage Warriors 113 is taking place on Friday night in London, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, no fans will be in attendance. According to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, the UFC is considering having certain bouts that were scheduled for Saturday, featuring European fighters, take place at CW 113.

CW is reporting that a middleweight bout between John Phillips and Dusko Todorovic, which was originally set for UFC London, will now be part of CW 113.

The UFC had planned to still hold UFC London on Saturday. But a ban restricting travel from certain European nations to the U.S. forced the promotion to look for another host city and venue.

In terms of CW 113, the promotion’s president Graham Boylan was quoted saying the following in a press release from the company.

“We’re working non-stop, around the clock to make this event the most iconic in the history of European MMA,” said Boylan.

“The way it’s looking, we could well be the only major sports promotion on the continent broadcasting live this weekend, into millions of homes around the world.

“Since day one, we’ve aimed to provide the most respected platform in Europe for athletes to showcase their skills. Now we’re proud to do our bit to help some of the guys who lost their chance to fight on this week’s UFC card.”
