Cage Warriors 157 Results: Mick Stanton Defends Title With Stoppage Win
By FCF Staff
Cage Warriors 157 took place Friday in London, England, and the card saw Mick Stanton extend his reign as middleweight champion.
Stanton faced contender James Webb, who defeated him by unanimous decision back in 2020. On Friday, Webb hurt Stanton with a body shot in the opening round. But the champion recovered, and proceeded to put Webb away with a series of punches late in the frame.
Stanton (12-7) won the vacant title in March, by defeating Will Currie by unanimous decision.
