Cage Warriors 188 is in the books, and the event saw Justin Burlinson take the welterweight title from James Sheehan.

Burlinson (10-2) ensnared Sheehan (8-4) with a fight-ending, guillotine choke in round four and in doing so, he extended his winning streak to four.

The main card also saw James Webb (12-5-1) defend the light-heavyweight title by finishing John Allan (18-10) with ground-and-pound strikes in round two.
