The platform for the much discussed, all-star boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford has gotten even bigger, as recently it was announced Netflix will stream the fight.

Crawford and Alvarez are scheduled to battle on September 13th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Initially, the Allegiant Stadium was announced as the venue. But, in recent announcements, only Las Vegas has been mentioned in terms of a location for the bout.

The official announcement from Netflix referenced Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation, Sela, and Dana White as promoters.

Mexico’s Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez currently carries a record of 62-2-2 with 39 KOs, and America’s Terence “Bud” Crawford has gone 41-0 with 31 KOs to date. Crawford, who was the undisputed champ at light-welterweight and welterweight, is moving up to 168 pounds to challenge Alvarez for his four, super-middleweight titles.
