CFFC 94: Fighter Has Finger Severed (Warning: Graphic)

CFFC 94 and Khetag Pliev are making MMA headlines, following a gruesome end to the fighter’s bout on Friday night.
Pliev took on Devin Goodale in the card’s co-main event. The fight was waved off after the second round, when officials realized Pliev’s left ring finger had been severed (warning: graphic image below).
According to reports, it wasn’t immediately clear where Pliev’s finger was. But, ultimately it was discovered it was in the fighter’s glove.

Ok, I rewatched Goodale vs. Pliev and saw what happened. His finger broke, and then after some grappling exchanges, it snapped all the way back and off, where it lodged into his glove as if he bent the joint all the way back the other direction until kapow. #CFFC94

Pliev was taken to hospital to have the finger reattached.

With the TKO defeat, Pliev’s record fell to 5-2. Goodale’s record moved to 4-0.
