Diego Brando Fighting Pablo Garza April 6th

Only days removed from the news that Manny Gamburyan has withdrawn from UFC 157 and will not fight Chad Mendes as a result, the latter will now reportedly face Clay Guida, April 20th, at the UFC on FOX 7 card.

Mendes (13-1) had recently announced that a replacement for Gamburyan could not be found for the February 23rd event in Anaheim, and according to USA Today, UFC President Dana White has confirmed that the featherweight will meet Guida (30-13) next.

UFC on FOX 7 will take place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.

In addition, Swedish publications MMA NYTT and Kimura.se are reporting that featherweight Diego Brandao (15-8) will take on Pablo Garza (12-3) at UFC on FUEL TV 9. The card will be hosted by Stockholm, Sweden’s Ericsson Globe Arena on April 6th.

Other fights that have been confirmed for the event include previously reported match-ups like Reza Madadi vs. Michael Johnson, Chris Spang vs. Adlan Amagov, and Tom Lawlor vs. Michael Kuiper.
