In an interview with ESPN’S Brett Okamoto, Dana White said that the UFC are finalizing a deal to have Charles Oliveira defend his lightweight(155lbs)title against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274. UFC 274’s location will be revealed at a later date. However, it is confirmed that it is set to take place in the United States.

Both Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje are coming off impressive wins from their last bouts inside of the octagon. Charles Oliveira won via third round submission(rear naked choke)against Dustin Poirier in his last bout at UFC 269 last December.

Justin Gaethje is coming from a impressive unanimous decision victory over Michael Chandler in a fight of the year candidate at UFC 268 last November.
