Bellator Fighting Championships has confirmed to FCF that WEC veteran Chris Horodecki will take on lightweight Mike Corey at the promotion’s November 12th card this Saturday in Rama, Ontario.

Horodecki was originally expected to fight Ricardo Triloni at Bellator 57, however, an injury forced the Brazilian to withdraw.

Horodecki (18-3) has not competed since July, when he worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Chris Saunders at Bellator 47. The win was Horodecki’s second in a row, following a first round, submission win over David Castillo at a Knockout Entertainment card in April. The former IFL competitor is 4-1 in his last five fights.

Corey (11-2) will head into this weekend’s card having won five straight bouts. The Missouri fighter hasn’t competed since January, when he scored a UD win over Tom Ahrens at Xtreme Fighting Organization 38.

The Horodecki, Corey match-up will take place on the preliminary portion of the card.

Bellator 57 will feature two of the promotion’s tournament finals, as Ben Saunders will take on Douglas Lima in the welterweight competition’s finale, and Vitor Vianna will fight Alexander Shlemenko in the middleweight tourney’s championship.

The card will be hosted by the Casino Rama facility and the main card will be broadcast live on MTV 2. The night’s preliminary bouts will be streamed live on Spike.com.
