Following UFC 225, both Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum have been campaigning for a bout with middleweight champ, Robert Whittaker next. Now the former opponents have traded verbal shots via social media.

Weidman and Gastelum fought last summer, and the latter lost the fight via submission. Weidman, who had lost three straight prior, has yet to complete again. Gastelum, meanwhile, has defeated “Jacare” Souza and Michael Bisping.

Recently the middleweights had this exchange on Twitter.
