CM Punk’s UFC Debut Booked For September

After having his UFC debut pushed back twice due to injuries, CM Punk has been booked to fight Mickey Gall on September 10th.
The bout will be part of UFC 203, which will take place in Cleveland, Ohio.
Punk signed with the UFC at the end of 2014, and was expected to make his pro-MMA debut last year. Shoulder and back injuries, however, have pushed the former pro-wrestling star’s debut back.
Gall (2-0) locked up a fight with Punk, Phil Brooks, back in February by finishing Mike Jackson in the opening round.
UFC 203 will be headlined by a fight between heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem.
