Not long after Conor McGregor announced he’s come to terms with the UFC, regarding a possible bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr., it’s being reported the lightweight champ’s applied for a boxing license in Nevada.

Since talk about the long rumored fight began, it’s been assumed that the boxing match would take place in Nevada. Although the fight isn’t finalized yet, MMA Junkie has confirmed with the Nevada Commission that McGregor has applied for a boxing license in that jurisdiction. The application process is still ongoing and has not been accepted yet.

If McGregor – Mayweather does get signed, it’s expected to take place in early fall.
