Conor McGregor is coming off back-to-back losses to Dustin Poirier, but that hasn’t stopped the polarizing star from calling for a title shot.

The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champ continues to recover from the broken leg he incurred in his rubber match with Poirier, back in July. The injury resulted in McGregor losing the bout via TKO, which followed his stoppage loss to Poirier in January.

While responding to a recent post from ESPN, which featured opinions on who McGregor should fight next, he called for a title fight.

Hi lads, here goes.. clicks and the like. Your boss and what not. The Mac.
Santy Claus.
I’m facing whoever the f-ck has that LW title next. Deal with it.
Take off your goggles and mark the trilogy “unfinished”. Deal with that too.
The rest mentioned, after this.
Deal. With. It

The 33-year-old McGregor has recorded one victory since he won the lightweight title back in 2016. After being submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018, McGregor stopped Donald Cerrone in a welterweight contest in January 2020.

Current lightweight champ, Charles Oliveira, is scheduled to fight Poirier on December 11.
