Following news that Michael Chandler is going to fight Charles Oliveira next, and not Conor McGregor, the latter is demanding for his Octagon return to be set.

For nearly two years now, there’s been talk and speculation regarding if and when McGregor and Chandler are going to fight. The two were finally booked to battle at UFC 303 in June. But, McGregor broke his toe and the fight was called off.

More recently, UFC President Dana White reported that Chandler is going to fight Oliveira in the co-headliner for UFC 309, November 16th. That prompted McGregor to post a fiery response to the news via X (warning: graphic language):

“Chandler saw that takedown getting stuffed and mauled and officially dipped. Little Fat P–y. I’m at the hard rock hotel Florida for the bare knuckle tonight. Got tested earlier today by DFSI. Give me my f–king date!”

McGregor, who is now a part owner of BKFC and has been actively promoting the company, hasn’t fought now since 2021. The former featherweight and lightweight champ has two fights left on his current UFC deal.

Chandler (23-8) and Oliveira (34-10) fought in May, 2021, and the latter recorded a second round, TKO stoppage.

UFC 309 will be hosted by Madison Square Garden in New York City. The expectation is that heavyweight champ Jon Jones will fight former champ, Stipe Miocic, in the main event.
