By FCF Staff
Conor McGregor is making mainstream headlines once again, following an apparent altercation with musician, Machine Gun Kelly.
The incident happened on the red carpet for the MTV Video Music Awards. According to a report from TMZ, an altercation kicked off after McGregor approached Kelly for an autograph but was he turned down. That account claims Kelly’s security pushed McGregor away, and that led to the former UFC champ throwing his drink.
In a follow-up interview with Entertainment Tonight, however, McGregor claimed he didn’t know why the incident happened (transcript via MMA Junkie).
“Absolutely nothing (happened),” McGregor said. “I don’t know. I just showed up and I don’t know. I don’t even know the guy to be honest with you. Just rumors. Nothing happened with me. I only fight real fighters. People that actually fight. I certainly don’t fight little Vanilla Ice white rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”
