Conor McGregor Reports He’s Down to Fight Dustin Poirier Jan. 23
By FCF Staff
After saying he would only rematch Dustin Poirier if the bout takes place this year, it looks like Conor McGregor has changed his mind.
Recently it was reported that the UFC was hoping to have McGregor and Poirier fight again on January 23rd, but the Irish star said the fight needs to take place in 2020. More recently, UFC President Dana White told ESPN that the promotion isn’t able to change its offer, and that the date for the bout is January 23rd.
More recently, McGregor tweeted out this.
I accept, Jan 23rd is on!
My goal is to see this fight take place in Cowboy stadium. Proper Style! Jerry Jones is a friend and the stadium can hold our crowd. I will be ready for Texas and Texas will be ready for my fans!
