Conor McGregor Says Michael Chandler Fight’s Next, Justin Gaethje & Nate Diaz to Follow

Although there’s been considerable speculation as to whether Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler, and if he’ll do so this year, the star says the fight is happening in December.
McGregor was in attendance for Saturday’s boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius. While talking with Gareth A. Davies, McGregor reported that he’s expecting to fight Chandler in December. The former champ then proceeded to claim that bouts with Justin Gaethje and Nate Diaz will follow.

The 35-year-old McGregor (22-6) hasn’t fought since July, 2021, when he broke his leg in his rubber match with Dustin Poirier. More recently, the Irish fighter coached opposite of Chandler on the latest season of “The Ultimate Fighter”.
