Cung Le Says It’s “Wrong” Dana White Made “More Than All The Fighters in UFC History Combined”

Cung Le has been a vocal supporter of fighters organizing for sometime, and following the sale of the UFC for over $4 billion, that hasn’t changed.

The Strikeforce and UFC vet, who is part of the anti-trust suit several fighters launched against the UFC, recently spoke with Fight Hub. While discussing a fighter union, Le had this to say (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“It’s just a matter of time. It has to happen. You can’t have promoters take advantage of fighters. That’s just wrong. The UFC sold for $4 billion – 4.2 sorry – and Dana White’s made more than all the fighters in UFC history combined. That’s just wrong. Good for him but it’s not right.”

Le also said in the interview that he is a supporter of the MMA Fighter Association, which is a group that has been trying to organize fighters, as a means to collectively bargain, for sometime. The vaunted striker questioned why the Professional Fighters Asssociation, led by baseball agent Jeff Boris and others, only recently came forward.

It’s believed that White made around $360 million from the recent sale of the UFC.
