Featherweights Pat Curran, Marlon Sandro, Ronnie Mann and Nazareno Malegarie have secured spots in the semifinals of Bellator’s “Summer Series” featherweight tournament, as all four fighters won their respective opening round bouts tonight in Hollywood, Florida.

Only one of the quarterfinal bouts went to decision, as the former Sengoku champion Sandro advanced with a split decision win over Genair da Silva.

Malegarie and Curran submitted Jacob Devree and Luis Palomino respectively, while Mann knocked out Adam Schindler in the first round to earn his semifinal placement.

The promotion confirmed afterwards that the semifinals will see Mann take on Curran and Sandro fight Malegarie at Bellator 47 on July 23rd.
