Not everyone is a fan of the way Curtis Blaydes approaches and wins fights, but the heavyweight contender has no intention of changing his strategy.

Blaydes took on Justin Willis at UFC Nashville on Saturday, and he dominated the contest with his wrestling and top game, en route to a decision win. During the bout, boos could be heard from the Nashville crowd, but when asked to comment on the situation afterward, Blaydes said this (quote via MMA Junkie):

“I have a daughter; I have to feed her,” Blaydes said. “I have that win bonus. I’m going to get it how I get it. … I can beat my way through the division. As long as I’m getting win bonuses, it’s fine with me.”

With the win on Saturday, Blaydes moved his overall record to 11-2 (with 1 no-contest). Heading into UFC Nashville, Blaydes was ranked #4 in the UFC’s heavyweight division.
