The lightweight title previously held by some of Cage Warriors’ most illustrious alumni is on the line at CW119, the final night of ‘THE TRILOGY Strikes Back’.

Jack Grant (16-5), one of the most exciting lightweight fighters on the continent, will get his second shot at lightweight gold on December 12th.

Since losing out on the belt to now-UFC star Jai Herbert at CW106: Night of Champions in 2019, Grant bounced back with a career-best submission on Cage Warriors ‘THE TRILOGY’ this September.

Grant’s extensive list of finish wins includes knockouts over Aleksi Mantykivi and Perry Goodwin.

In one of the most exciting Cage Warriors debuts of the year, new signing Agy “The Wolverine” Sardari (12-2) is fast making a name for himself across Europe, and enters CW119 on a 6-fight win streak.

If he’s victorious on December 12th, Sardari will become the first Dutch Cage Warriors Champion since Gegard Mousasi took home the Middleweight belt in 2006.

Previously, the Cage Warriors Lightweight Title has been held by UFC names Conor McGregor, Stevie Ray, Chris Fishgold, Jai Herbert and most recently Mason Jones.

Cage Warriors 117, 118 and 119 will take place on the 10th, 11th and 12th of December. All 3 of the behind-closed-doors events will be broadcast on UFC Fight Pass live from London’s York Hall, the venue that hosted the first ever Cage Warriors event in July 2002.

Stay tuned for further fight updates, coming very soon.
