Following last week’s announcement that former champion George Hardwick would return to face the hard-hitting Jan Quaeyhaegens in the first official bout for Cage Warriors 193, Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation has today confirmed a number of huge names for the September 13th card.

Chief among them is surging Scottish prospect Sean Clancy Jr. The undefeated welterweight phenom recently notched up his seventh consecutive victory (his fifth in Cage Warriors), submitting Brazil’s Italo Gomes in Glasgow. He’ll make the next step on his journey to CW gold just a short hop away at Newcastle’s Vertu Motors Arena.

No Bungy, no party. Chris ‘The Bad Guy’ Bungard returns to the scene of one his most famous victories; a 2023 battle with Perry Goodwin that exuded big fight feels before, between and after the bells.

One of the North East’s finest returns to Cage Warriors for the first time since August 2014! UK MMA mainstay Andrew Fisher is a pillar of the scene both as a fighter and more recently as a Coach with the Fish Tank.

Scottish fan favourite Reece McEwan will be back in action, after a bout of food poisoning robbed him of his planned appearance in Glasgow earlier this year.

Other names confirmed to appear on the September bill include, Jordan Stronge, Michael Blair, Michael Tchamou, Keir Harvie and former Cage Warriors Academy champion Lexi Rook, who makes her professional CW debut.

Announcements on matchups for the above – and even more names for CW 193 – will be announced in the coming weeks.
