Dan Henderson’s New UFC Deal Reportedly For Six Fights
By FCF Staff
Chances are that Dan Henderson will end his storied career with the UFC, as the 43 year-old fighter has reportedly signed a six fight deal with the promotion.
Before Henderson entered free agency in November, following his stoppage loss to Vitor Belfort at UFC FN 32, the fighter made it clear he wanted to end his career fighting in the UFC. News of Henderson’s new, multi-fight deal was reported on “UFC Tonight”.
Up next, Henderson will rematch “Shogun” Rua at a UFC Fight Night card on March 23rd. Although the bout has not been officially announced, the rugged fighter has confirmed the fight via his official Facebook page.
When the two met before in November, 2011, Henderson earned a unanimous decision win over the former light-heavyweight champ. Since then, however, Henderson has been defeated by Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida and Belfort.
