Dan Hooker Successfully Hits Featherweight Limit in Test Weight Cut

Dan Hooker

By FCF Staff

It looks like Dan Hooker could be heading back to featherweight, as the lightweight contender has successfully hit the division’s weight limit in a test weight cut.

The 31-year-old, lightweight contender recently posted the video clip below, which shows Hooker weighing around 146 pounds. The New Zealand fighter moved up from featherweight to lightweight back in 2017, and Hooker went on to establish himself as a top contender.

More recently, however, Hooker (21-11) has lost three of his last four fights. Most recently, at UFC 267 last month, he was submitted by Islam Makhachev in the opening round.

Currently, Hooker is ranked #8 in the UFC’s lightweight division.
