Dana White has confirmed that the man who has called UFC events for almost 20 years, Mike Goldberg, will not be returning to the promotion next year.

In advance of UFC 207 this Friday in Las Vegas, White confirmed while talking to the media that the December 30th card will be Goldberg’s last as an announcer. The UFC President did not say who will be replacing the 52 year-old Goldberg, who called his first UFC event back in 1997. But, White did say that they will be announcing Goldberg’s replacement in the coming weeks.

Recently there have been rumors that Goldberg might be leaving the UFC, after White did not mention him in an interview, while discussing the promotion’s broadcasting plans moving forward.
