Dana White has relayed in the past he’s interested in having Floyd Mayweather fight for the UFC, and recently he discussed the likelihood of the boxing star fighting Conor McGregor in the Octagon.

In recent weeks, Mayweather has been teasing a move into MMA, but it’s not clear yet, if it will happen. Prior to Mayweather’s boxing match with McGregor last August, the undefeated fighter said he’d face the UFC champ in the cage afterwards, but few people, if anyone, took him serious.

Recently TMZ ran into White, and when asked about the likelihood of a rematch going down in the UFC, he said this (quote via MMA Mania):

”I don’t know, we’ll find out. I’m interested. Obviously he’s interested, and the last time we were both interested you saw what happened.”

”I know Conor wants it,” White added.

McGregor hasn’t fought in the Octagon since November, 2016, when he stopped Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC’s lightweight title.
