Dana White: Offers Are Out For Conor McGregor – Dustin Poirier 2
By FCF Staff
After Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier agreed to fight for charity in a Twitter exchange, Dana White’s reporting the UFC has offers out for the rematch.
Earlier this week, McGregor asked Poirier if he would be interested in fighting in a bout for charity, which would take place in December. Poirier agreed to the proposal.
Since then, White spoke with Barstool Sports, and he reported the following (quotes via MMA Junkie).
“(Conor) called out Poirier for a fight with (him) in Dublin for charity,” White said. “So we offered them both a fight. We offered Dustin and Conor a fight, so we’re waiting to hear back from both of them.”

McGregor and Poirier fought back in 2014, and McGregor recorded a first-round, TKO win.
More recently, the 32-year-old McGregor (22-4) stopped Donald Cerrone in January.
The 31-year-old Poirier (26-6), meanwhile, is coming off a decision win over Dan Hooker in June.
