After a promising fight between Max Holloway and Yair Rodriguez fell through earlier this year, UFC President Dana White’s reporting the promotion has plans for a new date.

The featherweights were initially booked to fight on July 17. But, an undisclosed injury to the former champ Holloway, postponed the contest.

In a recent interview with TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter, White reported that the UFC is hoping to have Holloway vs. Rodriguez headline a November 13 card.

Holloway (22-6) is coming off a dominant, decision win over Calvin Kattar in January. Rodriguez (13-2) hasn’t fought since October, 2019, when he recorded a decision win over Jeremy Stephens.

No location or venue has been announced for the November 13, UFC card.
