Dana White Responds to Conor McGregor vs. Anderson Silva Talk
By FCF Staff
Anderson Silva has been pushing for a bout with Conor McGregor for a while now, and recently the latter relayed he’d be interested in that match-up. But, it looks like Dana White’s not interested in pursuing that fight.
Following Silva’s loss to Israel Adesanya at UFC 234, the legend repeated his interest in fighting McGregor. During the card, the former lightweight and featherweight champ tweeted out the comments below:
Anderson is one crafty, crafty Martial Artist.
You only develop these methods through years of hard fought experience.
Phenomenal performance.
The crafty veteran. Big respect always.
It would be an honor!

When White was asked, however, about the proposed fight the UFC President said this (quote via MMA Junkie):
“Did he really (say he wants Anderson)?” White said. “No, I don’t like that fight at all.”
McGregor has also expressed an interest recently in fighting Donald Cerrone and having a third bout with Nate Diaz.
