Dana White Says GSP – Michael Bisping Bout “Not Happening”, in Response to Champ’s Tweets
By FCF Staff
Michael Bisping has reported on Twitter that he’s verbally agreed to fight Georges St-Pierre at UFC 206, but Dana White says the fight isn’t going down.
There has been talk about a fight between Bisping and St-Pierre, after the latter relayed a few weeks ago that he’d be interested in facing the middleweight champ. More recently, however, St-Pierre has claimed he’s a free agent, since the UFC didn’t table him a bout offer prior to a deadline his team set. The UFC released a statement which claimed the former welterweight champ remains under contract.
Well, on Tuesday, Bisping tweeted out the following comments:
@GeorgesStPierre, we all want more money. But let's go,sign the papers.Give the people of Toronto what they want, be a hero! Let's go champ!

In a follow up report from MMA Junkie.com, however, White is quoted saying that ““There is no Bisping vs. ‘GSP’ fight in Toronto,” and that “I know Mike wants it, but it’s not happening.”
UFC 206 will take place on December 10th in Toronto, Ontario.
