Dana White Says Tito Ortiz Has “No Idea What He’s Talking About” Regarding Rousey-Justino Fight

Cris "Cyborg"

Tito Ortiz recently buzzed the MMA world by claiming that Cris “Cyborg” Justino was offered a bout with Ronda Rousey for this December, but UFC President Dana White has come out and said that’s not the case.

Ortiz, who used to be the manager of Justino and remains her wrestling coach, claimed on “Inside MMA” recently that the UFC asked “Cyborg” about fighting Rousey. The bout would be part of an event that the UFC is rumored to be planning for AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

White recently spoke to UFC.com, and while doing so, he had this to say about Ortiz’s claim:

“To show you that Tito Ortiz has no idea what he’s talking about, we’re not even doing the fight in Dallas, Texas,” said White. “The fight is going to be in Las Vegas at the MGM. Just to show you that Tito is absolutely talking out of his ass.”

“The deal we have with her is that she’ll make the weight and fight at 135,” White said. “We said to her: ‘What’s going on? Are we going to do this?’

Justino has said in the past that she plans to cut to 135, however, the Invicta featherweight champ has repeatedly called on Rousey to meet her in a catch-weight bout.

Rousey recently defended the UFC’s bantamweight title by quickly stopping Bethe Correia on August 1st.
