It’s been reported that the camps of Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva are interested in seeing the stars fight, and it looks like UFC President Dana White is on board as well.

While Anderson Silva continues to rehab the broken leg he incurred versus Chris Weidman last December, talk about a possible fight with Diaz has increased in recent weeks. After all, Diaz has said in the past that he’d only return to fight either Georges St. Pierre or Silva.

White was asked about the possibility of a Diaz and Silva fight, while attending a pre-UFC 174 event, and stated (quote via MMA Junkie.com):

“Anderson isn’t coming back until December,” White said. “It’s far enough that I don’t need to talk to him yet. If Anderson wants to fight Nick and Nick wants to fight Anderson, why would I say no?”

Diaz hasn’t fought since March, 2013, when he was decisioned by GSP at UFC 158.
