Danbury Honors New UFC Champ Glover Teixeira With Parade, Key to the City

Following his awe-inspiring, championship win last month at UFC 267, Glover Teixeira has been honoured by his new hometown, Danbury, Connecticut.
The 42-year-old Teixeira, who secured the light heavyweight crown by submitting Jan Blachowicz, was congratulated by Danbury with both a parade and a key to the city.
Teixeira (33-7) extended his winning streak to six with the win over Blachowicz, and the new champ is expected to fight Jiří Procházka next.
