There are several stars and rising competitors scheduled to compete at UFC on FOX 19, but according to Daniel Cormier, Islam Makhachev is the fighter to watch this Saturday night.

Makhachev (12-1) is scheduled to take on Drew Dober at the event, which will go down in Tampa, Florida. The bout will be Makhachev’s first since he was stopped by Adriano Martins in October,

On the latest “UFC Tonight”, here is what Cormier had to say about the lightweight fighter (quote via FOX Sports press release):

“My fighter to watch is Islam Makhachev. He lost his last fight but had moved up very fast. This young man is unbelievable. In the time since his last fight, he’s won another Sambo World Championship. I’ve been with him in training camp, the dude is a monster with unbelievable wrestling and great cardio.”

The 24 year-old Makhachev made his UFC debut last May and submitted Leo Kuntz. The 27 year-old Dober (16-7), meanwhile, is coming off a UD win over Scott Holtzman in January.
