Duke Roufus On Where K-1 Went Wrong; Jimmy Smith: “Floyd Mayweather Is A Dick”
In the second part of his two-part interview with Full Contact Fighter correspondent Jimmy Smith, four-time world Muay Thai champion and former K-1 USA competitor turned MMA striking trainer Jeff “Duke” Roufus explains what he feels led to the downfall of Japan’s once-mighty K-1 fight promotion.
Roufus talks about the prospects of K-1 rebounding off the heels of last week’s announcement that the promotion will re-launch its live event series in 2012 and award $1 million in prize money to competitors in a first-ever event in New York City at the close of the year.
