Dustin Poirier – Conor McGregor III Planned For UFC 264
By FCF Staff
The third fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor hasn’t been finalized yet. But, the UFC is targeting July for what will surely be, a massive bout.
Poirier and McGregor fought for the second time this past January, and Poirier avenged his 2014 loss to the star, via a second-round stoppage. After the fight, McGregor campaigned for a rubber match and Poirier said he was on board.
This past weekend, after UFC 260, UFC President Dana White confirmed that the promotion is hoping to book Poirier – McGregor III for July 10th. UFC 264 is expected to take place on that day at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Poirier also recently tweeted out the comment below:

McGregor (22-5) has gone 1-1 now since he was submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2018. Poirier (27-6), meanwhile, has also defeated Dan Hooker since ‘The Diamond’ was submitted by Nurmagomedov in 2019.
