One of Canada’s leading MMA promotions, Aggression FC, has announced that UFC vet Victor Valimaki will fight former MFC competitor Dwayne Lewis at its 20th event, July 5th in Edmonton, Alberta.

Lewis (12-8) is making his way to the organization after dropping back-to-back bouts to Octagon vets Wilson Gouveia and Ryan Jimmo. The only other man to defeat the light-heavyweight in his last ten fights is recent Bellator tourney winner, Emanuel Newton.

During his time with the Maximum Fighting Championship, Lewis scored stoppage wins over UFC vets Marvin Eastman and Mike Nickels.

Valimaki (17-8) hasn’t fought since last February, when he stopped Tim Chemelli, which ended a three fight losing streak for the Edmonton fighter.

Aggression FC has also announced that Bellator’s Ryan Ford will face the winner of the upcoming, May 19th bout between Michael Hill and Josh Powell at the July 5th card. The bout will determine the promotion’s welterweight champion.

In addition, Aggression FC 20 will feature lightweight champion Shane Campbell against an opponent yet to be determined.
