UFC Featherweight Eddie Yagin has confirmed to Full Contact Fighter that he’s back at home, resting and spending time with his family after he was hospitalized last week with a head injury.

Yagin was scheduled to fight Dennis Siver at the December 8th, UFC on FOX 5 card in Seattle, but was forced to withdraw from the bout after he experienced headaches and vomiting following a training session.

According to reports, Yagin was diagnosed with swelling of the brain; however, no surgery was required.

The 33 year-old veteran is coming off a split decision win over Mark Hominick in April at UFC 145, which was the card’s “Fight of the Night.”

Yagin (16-5), who is 3-2 in his last five fights, is expected to make a full recovery.

Nam Phan has agreed to step in on short notice and will fight Siver at UFC on FOX 5.
