Eduardo Dantas Takes Out Zach Makovsky to Become Bellator Champ

Eduardo Dantas laid claim to Bellator’s bantamweight championship tonight in Atlantic City, by leaving Zach Makovsky unconscious with a second round, arm-triangle-choke.

With the win, the rising fighter became the first man in nine bouts to defeat Makovsky, who saw his record fall to 14-3. The 23 year-old Dantas has now gone undefeated in four Bellator appearances and carries a record of 14-2.
