Recently there’s been speculation that the UFC could sign Paddy Pimblett, in advance of the promotion’s May 29th card in Liverpool, but the prospect has reportedly resigned with Cage Warriors.

The European promotion announced this weekend that the former featherweight champ has signed a new, multi-fight deal with Cage Warriors. The organization also confirmed that the Liverpool fighter will headline a September 1st card in his hometown.

The 23 year-old Pimblett (14-2) is coming off a flying triangle-choke win over Alexis Savvidis last month at Cage Warriors 90. The only fighter to defeat Pimblett in his last 10 bouts is Nad Narimani, who scored a decision win over him in April, 2017.
