Fired up Marlon Moraes Calls Out Cody Garbrandt & Dominick Cruz
By FCF Staff
Marlon Moraes does not have his next fight booked, and the former WSOF champ sounds pretty frustrated about that fact. So much so, he’s challenged Cody Garbrandt and Dominick Cruz to sign the dotted line.
The 32-year-old Moraes (23-6-1) is coming off a split decision win over Jose Aldo in December, which followed a stoppage loss to Henry Cejudo last June, which at the time, was for the vacant bantamweight title.
More recently the Brazilian fighter, who is ranked #1 in the UFC’s bantamweight division, shared out the comments and image below.
I’m not the best making excuses! I was taught to say yes for every challenge. Get the F.. in the Ring and Fight. Enough is enough thats names available and they all saying No. what’s up? @cody_nolove fastest hands in all roster etc etc why No 🤷🏻♂️??? @dominickcruz best batamweight all the time etc etc why no 🤷🏻♂️???
Garbrandt (12-3) recently ended a three-fight losing skid by knocking out Raphael Assuncao in June. Cruz (22-3) fought Cejudo in May, and was stopped in round two.
