Some observers, including UFC President Dana White, have been making the case as to how Conor McGregor could defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a boxing match, but the latter’s father says the UFC star has no chance. In fact, Floyd Mayweather Sr. claims he could defeat McGregor in the boxing ring.

Recently Fight Hype caught up with Mayweather Sr., and while discussing the long rumored McGregor – Mayweather bout, he said this (quote via MMA Fighting):

“He don’t want that fight. Floyd’s gonna turn him upside down,” Mayweather Sr. said. “That be like you and Floyd in the ring! [Laughs]. He looks bad in the ring. That’s a done deal right there. They’ve already showed the best that he’s got.

“He ain’t nothing but talk! I told them people on the TV already, forget about Floyd. Let’s throw Floyd to the side. Here I am, I’m a 64-year-old man and I’ll beat your ass. I’ll beat the s**t out of McGregor! Anytime he wants it, let’s go.”

Recently White said that Mayweather Jr. stands to make $100 million from a bout with McGregor, while the latter will earn $75 million. The bout, however, has yet to be finalized.
