Floyd Mayweather versus Mikuru Asakura set for September clash in RIZIN

After getting inducted into Boxing Hall of Fame on Sunday, Floyd Mayweather announced an exhibition bout against Mikuru Asakura in September for Rizin. The location will be in Japan. The venue will be announced at later date.
Floyd Mayweather retired from professional competition in 2017. However, Mayweather has been apart of a few exhibition bouts since his last pro bout. Bouts against YouTuber Logan Paul, Don Moore and Tenshein Nasukawa.
Mikuru Asakura on the other hand has a record of 16-3. His last bout was a unanimous decision win against Yutaka Saito at RIZIN 33 last December of 2021.
