Although a flyweight tilt hasn’t headlined a UFC pay-per-view event yet, UFC President Dana White says that day will eventually come. White’s confirmation comes not long before a flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and John Moraga will headline UFC on FOX 8, July 27th.

White relayed during a media call Tuesday that although the promotion is in a “building phase”, in terms of the flyweight division, a PPV could feature a flyweight fight in the main event. UFC champions and top tier fighters can potentially earn revenue from PPV sales.

The UFC President also relayed that Johnson’s previous fight with John Dodson at UFC on FOX 6 was “awesome.” Johnson won the bout via unanimous decision.

UFC on FOX 8 will be hosted by Seattle’s Key Arena.
