Former UFC Champ Josh Barnett Signs With Bellator

One of the most experienced and accomplished heavyweights of all time is heading to Bellator, as Josh Barnett has signed a contract with the promotion.
The 41-year-old Barnett signed the contract during a recent appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. The former UFC champ hasn’t fought now since 2016, when he submitted Andrei Arlovski at UFC FN 93. Barnett’s career was put on hold as a result of a successful appeal he launched with USADA. After being exonerated, Barnett requested his release from the UFC.
The renowned grappler has gone 3-2 in his last 5 fights and Barnett currently holds a record of 35-8.
