Former UFC Champ Renan Barao Signs With Taura MMA

After competing under the UFC banner since 2011, Renan Barao has reportedly signed with the Brazilian organization, Taura MMA.
The 33-year-old, former UFC bantamweight champ is coming off a decision loss to Douglas Silva de Andrade in November. The defeat was Barao’s fifth straight and dropped his record to 34-9.
MMA Fighting is reporting that Barao has signed a three-fight deal with Taura MMA, and is expected to make his promotional debut in November or December.
The promotion is looking for another UFC featherweight veteran to face Barao.
