Forrest Griffin, Tito Ortiz and Anderson Silva Lead UFC 148 Payroll

Former light-heavyweight champions Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz were the top earners at this weekend’s UFC 148 card in Las Vegas, according to the figures that were disclosed to the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Griffin earned $125,000, plus a $175,000 win bonus, for defeating Ortiz by unanimous decision in their rubber match. Ortiz, for his part, collected$250,000 for the bout, which was the UFC Hall of Fame member’s last.
UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva was paid $200,000 for his second round, stoppage win over rival Chael Sonnen, who earned $50,000.
Here the salary numbers that were disclosed to the NSAC by the UFC. They do not reflect any other money or bonuses a fighter may have received, like performance based awards or pay-per-view commissions.
