Friday’s Lion Fight 19 Includes Fabio Pinca vs. Sean Kearney Title Fight

Las Vegas, NV – The world’s premier Muay Thai organization, LION FIGHT, returns to the East coast at Foxwoods Resort Casino this Friday night for LION FIGHT 19: PINCA vs. KEARNEY. Headlining the stacked card is the men’s welterweight title fight featuring the reigning champion Fabio Pinca vs. Sean Kearney. In a much-anticipated women’s co-main event, American Muay Thai fighter Jeri Sitzes will take on Netherland’s Chajmaa Bellekhal.

Tickets for LION FIGHT 19 are still available through Foxwoods.com or by calling the Foxwoods’ Box Office at 800-200-2882 or Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets are also available by visiting the Foxwoods Resort Casino box office.

Topping off the card, Lyon, France’s Pinca (90-21-4), Lion Fight’s welterweight champion, will take on top contender Sean Kearney (29-9-1) fighting out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In the co-main event, American Jeri Sitzes (4-1), a former WBC Muay Thai Champion, will square off against European Muay Thai Champion Chajmaa Bellekhal (43-10-2), fighting out of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Pinca last fought at LION FIGHT 12 where he won the vacant welterweight title by systematically outpointing world class Muay Thai fighter Malaipet. In addition to holding the Lion Fight title, Pinca is also the 2012 WBC World Muay Thai Welterweight Champion, 2010 Isuzu Thai Fight Tournament Champion and 2009 WBC World Muay Thai Super Lightweight Champion. He’s known for his technical fighting style and for his high profile victory over one of the world’s most renowned Thai fighters, Saenchai, in a spectacular 2012 rematch.

LION FIGHT 19 airs live on AXS TV starting at a special time, 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. The broadcast will feature play-by-play and color commentary by UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich alongside renowned sports commentator “The Voice” Michael Schiavello.

The LION FIGHT 19 main card is stacked top-ranked Muay Thai fighters from all over the world. Following are the remaining fights to be televised live on AXS TV:

143 lbs. Bout: Pedro Gonzalez (Gloucester, MA) vs. Rungrat Sasiprapa (THAILAND)

140 lbs. Bout: Chris Mauceri (Kingston, NY) vs. Coke Chunhawat (Oakland, CA)

135 lbs. Bout: Julio Pena (Boston, MA) vs. Matt Doherty (Boston, MA)
