Chris Weidman, for now, just spoiled a big dream fight between Anderson Silva and Jon Jones.

Now, someone else has a big opportunity to mess up another big fight.

Marloes Coenen will step into the cage Saturday night to fight the monster Cris “Cyborg” for the Invicta FC Featherweight championship..

It’s the company’s first television pay-per-view.

Give Coenen all the credit in the world. She’s stepping into the cage for the second time against Cyborg.

In the first fight, Cyborg knocked her out in the third round.

The big dream fight, of course, is Cyborg vs. Ronda Rousey, a battle that seems inevitable if Rousey can beat Miesha Tate again in December.

Cyborg doesn’t fight for the UFC, but she will one day if she keeps winning. It would be a mega-money fight between the ladies.

As for Coenen, she has an excellent chance to boost her status if she could somehow defeat Cyborg.

Coenen, a submission fighter, would soar in popularity if she were to pull off an upset.

People want to see Cyborg lose. Popped for performance enhancement drugs more than a year ago, many fans have lingering doubts about the fighter.

Cut like a rock, Cyborg is an incredibly gifted specimen. She fights like a bulldozer. It will be hard for anyone to beat her.

No matter what happens, two of the best female fighters in the world will collide Saturday night at Invicta FC for the featherweight championship.

Coenen, like Weidman, has a chance to shock the world.
