Full Contact Fighter’s “The Daily Takedown:” AXS TV Goes to Bed With Fallon Fox; Miesha Tate Shouldn’t Blame Anyone Except Herself

Fallon Fox

By Joshua Molina

The little-known Championship Fighting Alliance announced a card today “headlined” by Fallon Fox, the transgendered fighter who has sparked recent buzz and controversy in the sport of MMA.

CFA will team with AXS TV to broadcast a show on May 24.  Fox will get a high-profile spot fighting on the little-seen AXS TV for no good reason other than the controversy around her.

Born a man, Fox is now a woman.

Some believe that she should not be allowed to fight in a women’s division because she still has the bone structure and muscle tissue of a man.  Fox, who is 2-0, didn’t initially disclose her transgendered status.

AXS TV is definitely looking to cash in on the wave of drama surrounding Fox, regardless of her fighting abilities.

In the world of MMA, there are hundreds of fighters who deserve to be in a co-main event spot before Fox.

Will anyone watch? Possibly for the spectacle.

. . . Miesha Tate should stop whining.

Now, on her Facebook page, she’s blaming referee Kim Winslow for her loss.

She’ll never win that argument.

As bad as Winslow might be as a referee, Tate should take the high road and vow to come back better than ever.

The best way to prevent a referee from making a bad call is to end the fight yourself when you have the chance.

Tate blew it.

She’ll have another chance. It’s up to her to do better next time.
