Full Contact Fighter’s “The Daily Takedown:” Ultimate Woes For The Ultimate Fighter

The Ultimate Fighter debuted with its lowest rating ever last week.   The dismal .7 rating means about 940,000 people watched the show.
That would be a great number if it were Pay Per View, but on free cable television, it’s a disaster.  It may be time for the UFC to take a break from its once highly popular show.  It may be too late for them to go out when they are on top like Jerry Seinfeld, but they don’t have to go out like Happy Days, either, long after they Jump The Shark.
Dana White keeps amusing everybody with his Ronda Rousey infatuation.   He told MMAfighting that Rousey “inside is like a (expletive) dude trapped in this beautiful body.”  Ronda’s trapped? Not sure what he is trying to say about Rousey, or himself, for that matter.
More bad news for MMA fighter Sarah Kaufman.  The former Strikeforce champ was set to make her debut for Invicta FC next month, but was forced to pull out because of injury.

Kaufman will have to wait to redeem herself after her quick, first round loss to Rousey in August.
